A WWI British military cigarette tin stamped on the cover with the British Officers Club. Most likely scattered around the Officer's Club for soldiers to get a smoke or a personal effect of a soldier to carry cigarettes in pockets free from crushing. Inscription/Stamping: British Officers Club - A Centered Coat of Arms dated 1887 at its base - 4th Regiment Prince of Wales Measurements (approximate): 4" x 2 7/8" x 1" Description: Brass sheet stock w/silver-washed interior. A loose-fitting lid w/an inscription which appears embossed.
