This is an authentic British (Government of Hong Kong) legal tender currency note. This particular bank note is uncirculated, new old stock, & issued between the years 1971-1981, based on the signature (see below). This was the smallest denominated banknote issued by the (Former) British Commonwealth government of Hong Kong and was "Fractional Currency". Measurements: Length: 3 1/2" Height: 1 5/8" Obverse: Brown print/text over a light blue underprint. Contains the face of a youthful Queen Elizabeth II and indicates it as legal tender from the Government of Hong Kong. Signed by C. P. Haddon-Cave, the 2nd of 5 signers (1971-1981). Reverse: Blank History: These notes were issued between 1961 & 1995 & had 5 eras of signatures (Financial Secretary) certifying their authenticity. The 5 signatures & issue dates described below: 1. J.J. Cowperthwaite (Issued 1961-1971) 2. C.P Haddon-Cave (Issued 1971-1981) 3. Sir J.H Bremridge (Issued 1981-1986) 4. Sir Piers Jacob (Issued 1986-1992) 5.
