This is an authentic World War 2 Czechoslovakian Mauser rifle bayonet & scabbard. The bayonet & scabbard are well marked. - Blade Ricasso: ČSZ - D - Scabbard Frog Stud: ČSZ plus E3 37 (1937) Measurements (approximate): Overall Length: 17” Blade Length: 11 3/4" History: After the German invasion & takeover of Czechoslovakia in 1938, the Czech Arms Industry was converted into producing weapons for the German military, to include Czech VZ 24 Mauser Rifles which this bayonets were fitted for. The bayonets were re-designated VZ24t, the "t" referring to the 1st letter in Czechoslovakia (German word - Tschechoslowakei).
