R.A.F.” Swing mounted as worn on original ribbons. 1953 Coronation confirmed on the medal roll, which shows him present with the “No 5 Regional Band” RAF. Geoffrey Douglas Boniface was born in Chertsey Surrey during April 1930. Local wartime newspapers in Surrey recall a young Musician named “Geoffrey Boniface” described as “The Boy Wonder on the Xylophone and Accordion”. He is mentioned a few times working various events.
