Description British South Africa Company Medal, reverse Rhodesia 1896, Trooper T.B. Stewart, British South Africa Police. Naming officially engraved: “Troopr T.B. Stewart B.S.A. Police” Confirmed on the medal roll. It is unclear what became of Trooper Stewart but in the upcoming Boer War, only 1 man appears to have earned a medal named to a “T. B. Stewart”, having possibly remained in South Africa following earning this medal. This T.B. Stewart, served in the 1st Brabants Horse as well as the Frontier Light Horse (late) District Mounted Troops.
