Description Egypt Medal, dated 1882, bar Tel-el-Kebir, 278 Private Samuel Goddard, 2nd Battalion Highland Light Infantry. Officially engraved: “278 Pte S. Goddard. 2/High. L.I.” Confirmed on the medal roll. Some pitting from wear with matching 1882 Khedive’s star and suspension slack.
