Kessler Custom Bass Clarinet Case New 2nd Gen 2023 Model! Our 2nd Generation Low C Bass Clarinet is the most popular instrument in our store! It offers players the perfect blend of performance, features (the Low C & double register key specifically) and affordability. It is being used by a wide range of players ranging from students in schools to professionals on Broadway! There is simply so much to love about this instrument! Since our line of bass clarinets release in 2008 with the 1st Generation Low C, there have been steady improvements made on the line. Most notable was the jump to the current 2nd Generation model series in 2017. The 2nd Generation Low C Bass Clarinet quickly became the best selling instrument in our store – our entire store! We have continued to make small and steady changes to the 2nd Generation Low C Bass Clarinet in order to provide the best instrument possible at an affordable price. In 2022, we put effort into improving the case on our bass clarinet. New Case The biggest weakness of our bass clarinet has been the case, as it was a generic “universal” fit bass clarinet case. This means that it will hold any bass clarinet, but not securely fit any either! The new case is custom made to fit the body joints of our instrument rather than being a “universal” case. The new case is a higher build quality with far better foam materials to provide a snug and secure fit to the instrument. The outer frame of the case is ABS plastic integrated with the high density foam and wrapped in a thick, weaved fabric exterior. There is still integrated backpack straps and a good storage pocket on the outside of the case. Case Specifications The stock case measures 33.5″ x 9″ x 13″. With the bass clarinet inside of the case, it weighs 18.8 lbs.
