Vickers Machine Gun (Mark 1) (Safe Use of Small Arms)

Description This modern manual has been written by the VMGCRA for use by our own members as part of our demonstrations and blends the historic content with modern safety standards and range use. The 2025 Edition contains new information on what equipment is needed for each lesson and an appendix for armourers to conduct inspections and examinations of the guns. This is not accredited material but follows the outline of an accredited syllabus designed for other weapons. It has been verified as suitable course material for firing the Vickers MG on the NRA Bisley ranges. If you have a 2022 edition of the manual, minor amendments have been developed and are available to download. They do not include the updates to the 2025 edition.
