The Canadian Civil Defence Armband Brassard is a historical item used during the mid-20th century as part of Canada’s civil defence efforts. Issued mainly during the Second World War and into the early Cold War period, these armbands were part of the official uniform for volunteers and personnel involved in air raid precautions, emergency services, and related civil defence activities.
