Description A very rare and unusual percussion double barrel howdah pistol, circa 1850. The pistol of twelve and a half inches overall, with seven inch, .5 bore Damascus barrels. The unusual, enclosed locks are of the type developed by Nock and are unsigned. The walnut full stock is in very good condition, with steel mounts and spurred trigger guard, The locks and mounts are finely engraved and show very little ware. Full working order. A fine collectors and investment piece.
