A detailed and expansive biographical history of Erwin Rommel. The focus is on his service during World War II, with copious photos as well as maps of many of his battles and campaigns. An extremely good history of his life, not as detailed as some of the more recent works but at 368 pages a very good history especially when it comes to his role in the campaigns that made him most famous. Highly recommended book from one of the best speciality military publishers. As they have sadly gone out of business books like this will only become harder to find as time goes on.
